LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS PROFILEEvaluates Leadership Styles The Leadership Effectiveness Profile assesses leadership skills by evaluating the leadership styles that managers and other employees are most likely to use. It also assesses how well they can determine which leadership style is most effective in a given situation and how well they can modify their behavior to achieve superior leadership performance. The LEP is based on contemporary situational and contingency leadership theories that suggest that there is no one best way to lead in all situations. Rather, the “best” or most effective leadership approach depends on variables such as the knowledge, expertise and responsibility of the employee, the task and the particular circumstances of the leadership situation.
